Project Description<\/strong><\/h2>\n

APPLiA Hungary Society<\/span><\/a> is a professional association of Hungarian electronic appliance manufacturers. Among other things, they deal with e-waste, energy efficiency of household appliances and the circular economy. Their goal is to halve per capita food waste by 2030.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The aim of their \u201cLet\u2019s refrigerate smarter!\u201d campaign is to reduce food waste with easy-to-learn tips that we can apply in our everyday lives. We were there to visualize, support and help communicate and convey the 52 campaign messages.<\/p>\n

As with previous projects, once we received the campaign messages, we did the necessary research to map international campaigns on food waste. Our team, consisting of an art director, a food stylist and a photographer, brainstormed several concepts for all the messages and visualized them differently. The aim was to create shocking, eye-catching images that are playful, creative, and not only aesthetic but also convey content.<\/p>\n

We have redefined the classic food photos, where, for example, the unconventional use of kitchen appliances, less appealing food and ordinary objects are reinterpreted in a completely new way, in a different setting from the usual. To make the pictures as authentic as possible, we avoided the use of image manipulation and used the classic tools of food photography. The food and props were composed in the studio and no special effects were applied in post-production. The key message of the campaign is that even tiny decisions can have great impact and spectacular results.<\/p>\n

The photo shoot was preceded by several days of preparation, as most of the photos required quite a few supplies that we had to acquire. In addition, some of the photos included ready-made food, which was prepared by our amazing food stylist.<\/span><\/p>\n

Most of the photos needed a kitchen environment, so we used the Bosch Home showroom, with the help of APPLiA. All other photos were taken in the Sidelight studio. We have prepared a well-planned script and developed an efficient workflow to ensure a smooth process.<\/span><\/p>\n

We had an amazing time with APPLiA, and it was a pleasure collaborating with them on their visual content for their campaign 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

El\u0151k\u00e9sz\u00fclet, koncepc\u00f3<\/strong><\/h2>\nAz eddigi projektekhez hasonl\u00f3an, miut\u00e1n megkaptuk a kamp\u00e1ny\u00fczeneteket, elv\u00e9gezt\u00fck a sz\u00fcks\u00e9ges kutat\u00f3munk\u00e1t, amely sor\u00e1n felt\u00e9rk\u00e9pezt\u00fck azokat a nemzetk\u00f6zi kamp\u00e1nyokat, amelyek food-waste t\u00e9mak\u00f6rben eddig k\u00e9sz\u00fcltek. A csapatunk - art director, food-stylist \u00e9s fotogr\u00e1fus - a t\u00f6bbalkalmas brainstorming v\u00e9geredm\u00e9nyek\u00e9nt az \u00f6sszes \u00fczenetre t\u00f6bb koncepci\u00f3t tal\u00e1lt ki, amelyeket k\u00fcl\u00f6nb\u00f6z\u00fc form\u00e1ban vizualiz\u00e1ltuk. Mindenk\u00e9ppen megh\u00f6kkent\u0151, figyelemfelkelt\u0151 k\u00e9pek k\u00e9sz\u00edt\u00e9se volt a c\u00e9l, amelyek j\u00e1t\u00e9kos, kreat\u00edv form\u00e1ban jelennek meg, \u00e9s nem csak eszt\u00e9tiz\u00e1l, hanem tartalmat is k\u00f6zvet\u00edt.\n\nA klasszikus \u00e9telfot\u00f3t defini\u00e1ltuk \u00fajra, ahol p\u00e9ld\u00e1ul a konyhai g\u00e9pek nem h\u00e9tk\u00f6znapi felhaszn\u00e1l\u00e1sa, kev\u00e9sb\u00e9 sz\u00e9p \u00e9telek \u00e9s h\u00e9tk\u00f6znapi t\u00e1rgyak \u00fajra\u00e9rtelmezve a megszokott helyzett\u0151l elt\u00e9r\u0151en, teljesen \u00faj k\u00f6zegben jelenik meg. Annak \u00e9rdek\u00e9ben, hogy elk\u00e9sz\u00fclt munka min\u00e9l hitelesebb legyen, a k\u00e9pi manipul\u00e1ci\u00f3t haszn\u00e1lat\u00e1t ker\u00fclt\u00fck, az \u00e9telfot\u00f3z\u00e1s klasszikus eszk\u00f6zeit haszn\u00e1ltuk. Az \u00e9teleket \u00e9s kell\u00e9keket a st\u00fadi\u00f3ban \u00e1ll\u00edtottuk \u00f6ssze \u00e9s egyik speci\u00e1lis effekt sem ut\u00f3munk\u00e1ban ker\u00fclt a k\u00e9pekre. Emellett bizonyos k\u00e9peken k\u00e9sz \u00e9telek is szerepeltek, ezeket a food sylist koll\u00e9g\u00e1nk k\u00e9sz\u00edtette el. <\/span>\n\nA fot\u00f3k nagy r\u00e9sz\u00e9nek elk\u00e9sz\u00edt\u00e9s\u00e9hez konyhai k\u00f6rnyezetre volt sz\u00fcks\u00e9g\u00fcnk, ez\u00e9rt \u2013 az Applia k\u00f6zrem\u0171k\u00f6d\u00e9s\u00e9vel \u2013 a Bosch Home bemutat\u00f3term\u00e9t vett\u00fck ig\u00e9nybe.
